Parrish Purnell Jr.

Parrish Purnell Jr. is an Executive Pastor, leadership consultant, entrepreneur, and former professional basketball player with a passion for helping people discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. He serves in ministry leadership at The Word Church and CO Church, where his work centers on developing people, building healthy culture, and creating systems that help individuals take meaningful next steps in their faith.

A former Division I athlete at Oral Roberts University, Parrish also played professional basketball overseas, giving him a unique connection to FCA’s mission at the intersection of faith and sports. He is passionate about leadership, discipleship, and using influence to make an eternal impact.



More than anything, Parrish loves being a husband and a dad. His wife, Anna, and their two boys, Leon and Theo, are the greatest joy of his life, and family remains at the center of who he is and how he leads.
